• A.I.R. Vallauris Korean Collection
  For the 130th anniversary of the treaty establishing their first diplomatic ties, France and Korea commemorated the event by proclaiming 2015-2016 as the France-Korea year.To coincide with this celebration A.I.R. Vallauris presents the Korean Collection exhibition.For over 15 years, A.I.R. Vallauris has welcomed international artists in residence and offered them the opportunity to realize an artistic project in an environment that inspires creativity.  During this time an important collection of works contributed by resident artists has been compiled. This exhibition assembles the works of 14 alumni resident artists from Korea as well as the works created during an International Study abroad program by 21 students from Ewha Womans University in Seoul led by Professor Eun-kyung Choi.This exhibition was originally scheduled to open in October 2015, but was cancelled due to exceptionally adverse climatic conditions. This exhibit is now restaged by A.I.R. Vallauris at two spaces within the Place Lisnard and organized within the official programming of the  “OFF” of the Vallauris XXIVth International Biennale of Ceramics.
